These are really great candles. They are so easy to use with a remote control. You turn them on from the bottom of the candle and then the remote just turns them on or off and you just press the timer button on the remote and they stay on for up to 5 hours. As I use them for Christmas themed window candles it would be nice if the timer was available longer but I appreciate the fact that I can be away from home knowing they will turn on automatically and I don't have to worry about them. with the need to turn on at dusk or turn off at night. They are bright enough to be seen from the road at a reasonable distance. Not as bright as an electric candle, of course, but they give the impression of a real old-fashioned "candle in the window". They gradually darken and produce a faint flicker. I absolutely love these candles and plan on using them for years to come.
