Review on Iris USA TWF-C81T Oscillating Tower Fan: Remote Controlled with Adjustable Vents - 31.5 Inch, White/Black by Nikki Kelley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great simple oscillator

It does the basic functions of an oscillator very well and if I had to give it a grade I'd give it a solid 4. Used. But it has a built-in fan mount so I can safely put it there without worrying about losing it. The lowest fan setting is quiet enough and pushes out enough air to be useful, which is the setting I use most. although very light sleepers may find this disturbing. However, I find the airflow and noise levels increase significantly when going into second speed, and I probably won't use this setting when working or studying as it can be distracting if the fan is running too fast. Close. Top speed is only slightly higher than the second setting, not much louder, and doesn't move much more air. the inconsistency of the natural breeze. The vents help direct airflow somewhat, but that's not really a defining feature. I've only used the timer a couple of times, but it's nice to have one. The appearance is simple but appealing and in terms of size I find it very compact for a pedestal fan. The plastic is smooth enough to reflect light, so it might look/feel a bit "cheap" to some people depending on their aesthetic sense, but the build quality seems good (solid, not too flimsy or light) . Overall I think this is a pretty good fan with a few small downsides, the main one being that you should consider a different fan if you need multiple speed settings. It pretty much only has "High" and "Low", and the "Low" setting isn't that low for people who want a really quiet or quiet fan, and "High" might be too strong for those who like medium speeds.

  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete model
