Pros: 1. Works like a charm once taken out of the fridge. 2. Yes, I believe it's dishwasher safe. Cons: 1. Leaving it out of the fridge at room temperature for too long. The cutter does not cut the butter all the way through. 2. If you have a child, don't let them put their finger in it. 3. It's made of hard plastic, don't expect it to last a lifetime. 3. Instructions for filling oil into the device are not clear. Steps: 1. Turn the device upside down with the shaver/bottom facing up.2. Squeeze and hold the device and shake it until the plastic box inside falls out.3. Use a razor to turn the device upside down and put a piece of oil in it.4. Put the block that fell out at the top back the way it came out. When you start squeezing it a few times you will hear a click and the block will start to fall and the oil will start coming out in chunks from below. Hope that helps!
