Very useful tool when troubleshooting and managing various types (physical & vm) hardware
The ability for multiple VMs or physical servers with different needs can be configured at one time allowing us to manage them all from just one console! Can also set up custom rules that have been tested by other users so it's easy to implement new features without having too many questions about if they will work as expected, etc. I am not able to utilize this feature myself since we use VMware products but others are very happy using vSphere virtual machines within our environment because of how well vTM works together w/their software products. They need more information regarding network configurations before determining their benefits over competitors such as Cisco ASA. We needed to solve problems related to being unable to track certain VM workloads like file transfers while maintaining security across each server in an HP ProLiant DL380 G4 machine fleet.
