This is a decent mop, nothing fancy. Dark and blue sponges work well for cleaning floors, but can leave streaks on smooth surfaces like wood, laminate, and smooth tile. The green and white pads are good for sweeping and dusting - sort of a Dry Swiffer-like job, but that's about it. The green microfiber pad cannot be used when wet as the floor is very difficult to maneuver because it simply does not slide. My favorite is the O Cedar Vileda Mop. It only has one panel with buttons, but that's the only thing you need. First I sweep and dust with it, then after I've swept everything he's collected over the trash can, I wet it a little and mop the floors. It is easy to apply, cleans well and leaves no streaks. Also washes well in the washing machine.
