Review on AAXA 4K1 LED Home Theater Projector: Immersive 4K UHD Resolution, Long-lasting LEDs, Compact & Portable, Dual HDMI, 1500 Lumens by Ray Gist

FIX: Audio output only worked in mono. Even with headphones, the device must be defective. This, along with other red flags like a bad remote control, bad menu UI, and bad buttons on the device, I had to return. It's a shame because the picture quality is really good. Amazing picture quality. This is a very bright and clear 4K image. The projector is fantastic. However, the remote control was so disappointing! It wasn't working when it arrived. Working with Revain Customer Support to try and fix this (results will be updated later). The remote also feels very cheap, light and plastic. You would think that for almost a thousand bucks they wouldn't skimp on the quality of the remote control. Also, the way the battery compartment rotates to accommodate the battery is a joke. What would otherwise be a 5 star rating, disappointing is the remote control joke. Luckily, the projector itself has some really nice touch controls for navigating and manipulating menus. I connected my Apple TV 4K to this projector and it works great. PROS: - Amazing / perfect 4k picture quality. - Very bright. You will not be disappointed - Small size, very portable - Price: Best in class. You don't have to spend more than $1,000 on a projector. That's the right price. CONS: - The fans are pretty noisy to be honest. - The device becomes very hot. - The remote control is terrible/poor quality. - Keystone correction is not intuitive. You basically cycle through "Keystone 1, 2, 3". etc. I have yet to find out. - The physical buttons on the device are goofy: you have to press and hold the button to turn it on or change the volume. You can't just hold it! I wanted so badly to give this 5 stars but the remote control is a joke so my overall rating drops to 4/5. If they updated the remote it would be a huge improvement. If you are looking for amazing picture quality for your movies/media and you can connect a 4K source like Blu-ray or Apple TV 4K then this is the projector for you.
