Review on Bosch 91 Piece Drilling Driving MS4091 by David Burns

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cheap scrap from China made of watered down steel.

Sheet metal is extremely brittle, the tips will bend over wood and eventually yield to shear and break even when working with thin soft metals such as aluminum siding. The drill bits usually broke on first use and also drilled soft aluminium, the ratchet didn't last on us more than 2 hours before the internal mechanism refused to lock and could only rotate freely in any direction rendering it completely unusable. The case looks nice, but the components are extremely difficult to remove from the rubber blocks they are set in, and usually require a punch to pry them out of the back of the block as the part itself almost sticks there despite twisting and prying stays until the stop. Components have their own durability limits. This is not a typical Bosch product, I have never seen such a low level of quality even in port freight.

Pros
  • Twist Drill Bit
Cons
  • No Power
