Review on πŸ’œ Purple Smoke Buddy Junior - Compact Personal Air Purifier and Odor Diffuser by Chris Reeves

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Removes 95% of smoke/odors when used correctly

If you live in a smoke-free environment but still need to take your meds, the Smoke Buddy Jr. is a must. The correct way to use this filter is along with a 1-hitter or other small snorkel that you can either fully clean with one hit or fully close/sniff after a hit. This type of filter is NOT designed to filter cigarette smoke or wet joints. In this scenario, only about 50% of the smoke/odor is filtered out, as most of the smoke produced comes directly from the cigarette/joint and is never filtered. The same is true when used with large glass bowls or bongs that can produce unfiltered smoke. Use your head, choose the right tool for the job! The filter works great, but you also have to do your part if you want to smoke unscented. Tip 1: Blow slowly and calmly through the filter, that's one thing. Your filter will last longer and perform better. Quiet breathing is cool and dry, and blowing forcefully through the filter creates hot, humid air that clogs the filter fairly quickly. You can get a new one, use the microwave trick. Put the filter in the microwave and heat it for 10-15 seconds, then take it out and blow it out vigorously and quickly. This will remove some of the smelly damp air that has accumulated in the filter. Repeat this process until the moisture has been removed from the filter and airflow has improved, allowing your filter to cool between each attempt. Month. Moisture is the enemy of this filter. Each time you blow through the filter, you release a different amount of moisture. So tell me then, why on earth do you want to close it and prevent the moisture from evaporating naturally?
