Exactly what I need. I live in Texas where it gets so hot the roads get soft in the summer. I installed a fan in my truck to keep the subwoofer cool on hot days. I controlled it with the ignition switch. My kids mentioned that it's very noisy in the back seat. I have a 2007 Tacoma cab. So this little controller is just what I needed. I first got the LED backlight and 12V DC power supply, tested the stand and checked the temperature readings. It worked great. So I adjusted it to 40c (104f) and installed it in my truck. I installed a temperature sensor on the cooling fins. After I played DJ Magic Mike, the temperature only rose to 37.5 degrees. So I'm still waiting for a day hot enough to actually try it. Test stand tests passed with distinction. I'll be back with an update in a few months.
