Very glad I was able to find a working replacement remote control for our player. We used to live in Brazil and brought an LG DVD player (model DZ9941N, c. 2006) bought there to the USA. We kind of lost the remote, thinking our little one had thrown it in the trash and we hadn't noticed. 14 years ago and a whole continent of where it was bought I couldn't find any information on how to replace the remote control. After gathering as much information as possible, I took a chance. It worked right out of the box. Hooray!
