Lids are extremely difficult to operate

Lids cannot be blocked. You have to hit it to engage the latches on the lid. You need a crowbar to get them to unlock it. If you have a little arthritis in your hands or have no strength, you will find that they cannot be used. Nice thick glass and the lids and plastic grid hold up well in the dishwasher. Great colors. But it's a struggle to close and open them.
