Review on Experience Epic Card Battles With Three-Dragon Ante: Legendary Edition by Robert Schneider

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The game is amazing, but quality could be better

TLDR; the game is 10/10, get it, love it. 4/5 stars because box is designed poorly and you can't close it all the way after punching out tokens.Pros:Seriously, the game is phenomenal. The art is beautiful, and the game is well balanced with plenty of room to adjust to your preferences. The game is played with 70 standard cards that are meant to be included at all times as well as 30 epic cards. The intent is that only 10 of the 30 epic cards are used per game, adding an additional challenge of not knowing which special cards you will have to play around. If you prefer, there's no reason you can't play with all 30 included. It just gets more fun every time you play.Great potential for D&D integration, but great without it.Cons:The cards aren't bad quality, but they could be better. It's hard to describe my complaint here, they just don't feel quite right.Box design is poorly thought out. You will have to get creative to get the box to properly close after you've punched out all the gold/platinum tokens. It's a shame because they just used the space poorly.

Pros
  • the person the gift was for enjoyed it
Cons
  • Cards are poorly printed and difficult to read
