I can't say enough good things about Brian's customer service at SuperMats. What initially seemed potentially nightmarish, he turned everything around for me, and I highly recommend this company as a beacon of longstanding integrity. I think I bought my first SuperMats probably 13 years ago for the gym I set up. in Maryland. Good carpets, no problems because I wasn't married. OK, I'll explain. Fast forward 13 years, I'm married and it turns out my wife has a very severe and rare anaphylactic allergy called paraphenylenediamine (PPD) allergy (common in hair coloring communities) and I'm having no luck ordering a mat offered by SuperMats ( black SuperMats SuperLock Heavy Duty weightlifting mat) containing this chemical. She's had bad anxiety reactions to the mat several times over the last year, but it was hard to beat — and when we found out I literally had to rip the carpets down and clean the room from top to bottom just to make it non-fatal and fit for you. Although I had never experienced this chemical allergy before, Brian took my word for it after I explained the problem. He was kind enough not only to research how to make rugs for me but also refunded my money almost a year after my purchase. I'm sure this isn't a common problem, but I'm also sure the carpet will be flagged with a warning from now on. The way they handled this screwed up experience shows a real commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. This is a solid company that has been in business for over 30 years and has sold many rugs to many people and I would highly recommend them.
