For a cheap watercolor pan, they work fantastic. Almost all colors are vibrant, and if not, you just need to find the right ratio of water to color to get more pigment. I applied them to dry watercolor paper with a wet brush tip. Some of the prettiest colors were dark brown, dark purple, sky blue and orange. Red is not very dark, but a better, deeper shade can be achieved by mixing in some brown. Yes, the colors are a bit faded, but that doesn't matter. As long as you don't rub something directly on the paper or crumple it (which you shouldn't do anyway), the colors are perfect. Overall they are great, cheap and 4/5!
