Product incorrect - not as pictured

This is NOT the Artists Loft brand pictured. I received a paint set called "Artistic Alternatives" with completely different colors and qualities. I have ordered the genuine Artists Loft brand many times and it has not been him. You cannot have descriptions and images for a specific product, but you can submit a completely different item.

Fantastic vibrant colors for a great value set

For a cheap watercolor pan, they work fantastic. Almost all colors are vibrant, and if not, you just need to find the right ratio of water to color to get more pigment. I applied them to dry watercolor paper with a wet brush tip. Some of the prettiest colors were dark brown, dark purple, sky blue and orange. Red is not very dark, but a better, deeper shade can be achieved by mixing in some brown. Yes, the colors are a bit faded, but that doesn't matter. As long as you don't rub something…

Comparable to Sakura Koi dyes, but cheaper. Very good.

The colors are excellent. They are a beautiful bright colour. The first dry watercolor kit I bought was the Koi Sakura kit. The colors were fabulous. I work with children and was looking for an inexpensive but good quality kit to use with them. That's it! Look at the picture I posted. The colors on the right side of the rainbow are the Sakura brand, while the colors on the left are Artist's Loft. I find the quality very similar. You also get more pots of paint with the Artist Loft. FYI, I…

Terrible and brittle.

I bought the Artist's Loft watercolor palette from (Michael's) and bought this one. The one I personally bought has smooth, vibrant colors that blend well and don't bleed when dry. The one I bought online (this palette I'm reviewing) was terrible. When mixed with water they were crumbly and clumpy and didn't dissolve no matter how much I mixed (note I mixed both palettes with the same brushes). Once dry, the colors will crumble and bleed through (the ones I bought in the store don't transfer)…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Some loose change

love for coloring!

For so much money there is no equal! I'm a watercolorist and usually use professional paints, but lately I've been bitten by a passion for "adult coloring books" to unwind before bed. I really don't want to mess around with mixing colors too much, so I bought these Artist's Loft pans from Revain at a great price. They are highly pigmented and produce vibrant colors on paper. I use them with a water brush on regular coloring books and haven't had any problems, but I choose books with pictures on

Packaging is strong, plastic doesn't fit

Great value watercolor kits for the crafter or hobbyist; this is 100% my choice. I'm not a professional or anything, but I do watercolors in my spare time and I'm always looking for decent materials at reasonable prices. I used to use an almost identical palette from Loew Cornell, it's about $5 cheaper (I bought it for $9 with change, and the Loew Cornell palette was about $5 with change if I remember correctly), usually compared to products sold in this way. kind. As far as hobbyists (usually…
