Review on Artists Loft Fundamentals Watercolor Colors by Nicole Mcleod

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible and brittle.

I bought the Artist's Loft watercolor palette from (Michael's) and bought this one. The one I personally bought has smooth, vibrant colors that blend well and don't bleed when dry. The one I bought online (this palette I'm reviewing) was terrible. When mixed with water they were crumbly and clumpy and didn't dissolve no matter how much I mixed (note I mixed both palettes with the same brushes). Once dry, the colors will crumble and bleed through (the ones I bought in the store don't transfer). If you put two colors on top of each other, they will not mix and curl. When mixed in a separate palette, the water and pigment separate almost instantly. Very dissatisfied with this palette. I will pass it on to my niece, but I strongly recommend it, despite the fact that it is cheap, and even for beginners. The one I bought at the store was only $5 and was much better.
