Charming but not dockable

This case is so adorable it looks even cuter in person. Unfortunately had to send it back because it didn't fit. Some people say it docks and some say it doesn't, so I don't know if it depends on your switch? I have an Animal Crossing Switch if that helps but I just couldn't get it to dock :(
