BETTER THAN EXPECTED

When I got these 6 hinges, 3 for each door, they were lighter than I thought I should have bought. They came with a bag of screws about an inch long, which were useless. These doors I mounted them on are 4 ft wide and prob over 80 lbs each. I used 15 3" lag screws on each door and 12 4" lag screws to mount the hinge to the door frame, for a total of 24 4" screws in the door frame and 30 3" screws holding the hinges to the doors. Worked a dream, moves silently and easily. Who knew.

Pros

They look great and handled the 10’ doors we built for a carriage house design barn/shop

Cons

The hinges may be too industrial-looking for use on doors or gates in residential areas
