I have psoriasis and was advised to use sea salt. I tried Minerva initially and had very good results, however the smell was very chemical. Minerva is a processed Dead Sea salt that has a brilliant white appearance. I took the risk of ordering this salt. It certainly has residual particles judging by other reviews, but I think it's good. This happens with both large rocky chunks of salt and small stones. Having all of these particles in your solution isn't ideal, but I think it's a good thing that this salt isn't as processed as its closest competitor. This one doesn't have a strong chemical odor and so far has been very good at soothing the skin. I continue to use this last week and will update the review if anything changes. In my honest opinion this is the best Dead Sea salt you can buy online, however there is no official certification for Dead Sea salt in the US; That means it's mine or not real sea salt, it's a free nation, you can put whatever you want on the label as long as it's not regulated by some agency like USDA etc.
