Perfect replacement
Used it to rebuild an old Merc 50 and it worked perfectly. If you're looking for an ignition block, you'll see some of these for $45-$300. It's worth getting compared to cheaper ones but I don't know if I would go OEM as the only difference between CDI and CDI is With OEM parts you need a ground wire for the CDI as it's plastic and not plastic metal is. CDI support is also provided if you encounter problems.
