I bought this hoping it would fit my hair dryer and it would work. When it arrived, the end that the gun fit in was just over 1-1/8" in diameter. My shotgun's nozzle is 1-5/8" in diameter. When I looked at the part that attached to the gun it seemed better to me to insert it into the end of the heat gun rather than on the outside. I bent it a bit and of course it fits perfectly on the inside of the nozzle. My heat gun is just a regular Canadian Tire brand heat gun which I think is identical to many heat guns sold under different brands.When the attachment is on the heat gun it wobbles a bit when I shake it but it doesn't come off unless squeezed and pulled out It seems really well designed He tried heat shrink tubing and it worked like a charm.
