While this switch is powerful, it is not easy to configure and does not follow common industry standard network setup nomenclature. If you want that, you need to prepare some manuals and watch some YouTube videos to see how to set it up. One of the biggest problems is that the switch has many features that require a processor to work, basically everything except switching. The problem is that the switch only has a 1 gigabit connection from the switch's 10 gigabit ports to the CPU. That means if you route on this switch, it will only route at 1 gigabyte, so don't route, just switch. Also, be sure to update the firmware on this switch, I found the base firmware at the time of writing this article. be buggy and result in very poor performance (6.45.1). Besides, SWOS which can dual boot is useless, don't worry.
