Here in the reviews they write about soap . In the reviews on the German site photAmazon (available on in the reviews) we are looking for sharpness, everything is very intelligibly written in numbers about sharpness at different focal lengths depending on the aperture (actually there is not only about sharpness). Someone writes like this, having previously disassembled the lens (!): "Not for landscapes with a horizon line: he thinks along the edge on the right," - it is "thinks", - "At 50mm, you need to cover the window with the distance scale with your hand, there is a flare" - maybe it was not worth disassembling the lens yourself ?! Someone writes: "as I shoot photo shoots at 85 mm 1.8, I continue" - what does the focal length 85mm have to do with it when we have 70mm at the end, and the hole is clearly not in comparison (1.8!).? There is another review: ". But look at the same wedding photos taken on a set of 20mm + 50mm + 85mm" - but we have a range of 24-70 (20mm and 85mm are not included in our range at all!) And a hole of 2.8, and the lens autofocus with motor ! And shooting is not only about wedding photos! By the way, the D series of lenses included in our range (24-70) is not a competitor to this lens in all respects! Quote: ". It is clear that all such purchases do not come from the desire to shoot portraits, or landscapes, or street.". Just landscapes and a certain street, the portraits are of course doubtful (but the picture is very nice on an open 70mm )! With this lens and a full-frame carcass, I will climb Mount Moses, visit the monastery of St. Catherine, the pyramids of Giza, Prague, Barcelona and on any trip! I'll take it for a holiday to a kindergarten, for gatherings in a cafe . This glass has a lot of reasons to use it! I will not carry fixes of its range with me, I will not need portraits with background blur and an “airy” picture, like at weddings, in most cases with this lens I need a picture with excellent quality!
