The mount has been very solid so far and easy to install once you figure out how to unscrew the metal hook to snap the back of the vent. Then you can attach it to the front of the air vent. This makes it the most durable case I've ever bought. The only very minor downside is a little horizontal rotation, just enough to get a good view of the screen, but I wish there was a bit more rotation. The last feature I really liked was that to tighten you just have to put my phone in place and squeeze and it holds the phone perfectly. Then to release, simply press the button on the back of the case and the 2 side flanges will release allowing you to pick up your phone without tugging or tugging on the case.
