I used these for a more intensive cleaning. So far the one I'm using hasn't worn out enough to be scrapped. They tell you that it won't absorb much water at first. So far I don't see any real takeover. The fibers seem to have loosened enough to hold some liquid for it to work, but not enough to dry out the surface. I found out that polypropylene plastic like this can be recycled in my pickup truck! Not every cleaning leaves me with a washable cleaning cloth, so I still have to throw out some, but I'm happy to recycle them when I can. But my low score is because they claim it's antibacterial. I can't find anywhere that says raw polypropylene reduces or kills bacteria.
