This monitor is still amazing. This is a very bright panel, admittedly a bit too bright at times. I've played around with the colors in the MSI Display app and in the monitors' own menu and managed to tone them down a bit, but they still look fairly saturated. For me it's not really a problem. My old monitor (a $70 Walmart brand monitor) was very blurry and dull, so I specifically looked for something with a better color display and found it with this monitor. If you're looking for a vibrant display with popping colors, this might be for you. If you're looking for a standard/medium color display, you might want to try something else. Build quality seems high for something in this price range, which was a very pleasant surprise. The stand is nice and solid, the monitor itself is very slim and well designed, and the materials don't feel cheap in my opinion. To be honest, this monitor looks and feels very premium. As already mentioned, the factory settings were very bright and saturated. Besides, they were right about the money. You don't need to mess around with them a lot to get the results you want. You'll need a DisplayPort cable or HDMI 2.0 cable and your MSI Display Kit program to manually toggle the refresh rate to 144. You may be able to use the nvidia control panel for this, but I'm not 100% sure, although you should install the MSI Display Kit app anyway, as it offers many settings and options for the monitor, including a full color calibration menu that isn't in the monitor menu is located. * OTHER NOTES * This monitor is NOT equipped with a display connector. cable, you'll need to buy one if you don't already have one.
