Used to replace the valve in our metal dog trough after the original started to leak. Fits perfectly and switches off completely. I already had a garden hose adapter so I ordered the same size as the plate. Adjustable water level so I never have to worry about my dog running out of water on hot summer days. Comes in a 2 pack so if it ever wears out to build minerals I'll have another in my tool box. It was cheap enough for an extra so why not.
