Review on Adjustable Elevated Dog Bowl Stand With Slow Feeder – Perfect For Dogs Of Any Size by Tracey Mack

Dog likes it best in my review

Our pup has been having some issues while eating, so after doing some research about feeding tips, found this feeder online and wanted to give it a go, especially since it has a slow feeder bowl. Has definitely been an asset. He has always been a gobbler and i think now that he is older, its what is giving him issues. The slow feeder and height of the bowls make him slow down and not have to hold his neck in an unnatural position while eating.Even though it did not come with assembly instructions, it was easy to piece together just by looking at the pics. I have it on the highest setting by popping the legs on the shorter width side to the left and right of the feeder bowls. This places the bowl height at approx 12 inches (30.5 cm). It's a small thing, but there are cutouts where the bowls go to make for easier grabbing, this way you are not struggling to pry the bowls out of the indents. The feeder bowl feels to be of a heavier duty plastic, so as not to be chewed up easily and the 2 water bowls are a nice steel as well. The legs feel a little flimsy, but once installed into the bowl set, feel a lot sturdier. There are also little rubber grippers, to make sure the whole set up does not move. This was proven when our Roomba was cleaning and unlike with our old bowls that would end up in the middle of the kitchen, these didn't go anywhere.

Cons
  • The slow feeder may not be effective for dogs who are overweight or obese
