Review on Delmar Tools Patented Table Saw Push Block: Enhancing Safety and Ease in Narrow Rip Cuts, Reducing Kickback Risks by Randy Holt

Great product for saw blades, parts and accessories

Of course I have never owned or used a more expensive brand of this type of tool but have no idea why I would need it. This thing does the job and I don't know how any other tool would do it better or cost me more to do the same. I've used it a ton since I got it and have almost no complaints. I'm even considering getting a second one just to use when cutting longer boards on the saw. If I had any complaints, I wish the part that comes down to level the handle when working with narrow parts was a little easier to adjust with one hand. I cut big boards into strips all the time so I usually start with a bigger stitch and then when I tear them apart I end up having to lower the brace. I usually have to stop and use both hands to adjust it and then keep turning. But that's really just a problem with this kind of script. If you're starting with a smaller chunk, just install the support first. So a minor inconvenience at best. Overall I think it's every bit as good as a more expensive brand but at a fraction of the cost. Yes, the other has a few fancy extras and such, but nothing that makes it that much more expensive in my opinion. Of course, I'm just a layman and don't make a living from this kind of work. If I used it daily I might see the benefit of the more expensive one, but for the average hobbyist like me it does what I need it to do.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
