I found our black truck splashing in the wind. We have spring water with many minerals. I have this to fix this issue when it happens i.e. 2 or 3 times a year. My first need was early in the season and while it was definitely above freezing when applied to a fairly cold car it seemed to stick or thicken rather than spread well. After the sun has warmed him up a bit, he seems to have straightened up better. It cleaned fairly well and I applied a protective wax spray. Aside from the temporary issue, this seemed to work pretty well - better than anything else I've tried, of course.
