This mid-sized desk lamp packs a lot of truly useful functions into a small footprint, and does it with style. The lightly textured surface of the lamp's body has the look of fine grain faux white leather, with a nice hefty base where one can charge their compatible Qi-enabled phone. If one's phone isn't compatible with that, there is still a convenient USB charge port at the back where the phone can be plugged into and charged.The light is a very pleasant 3000K light that is dimmable. I love how pleasant the light is, it's not that weird spaceship cold lighting at all. The main neck of the lamp has a convenient clock/alarm clock display that also tells the temperature of the room. The buttons for this feature are on the back of the neck, intuitively placed according to each corresponding function.I plan on using this in my husband's office, where his lighting needs improvement for finer tasks. He's not easily impressed by many things, but this had him smiling about all of the cool features and how useful it is for him to charge his phone on the charger portion while being able to use the light brightness at whatever level he needs with an alarm clock and temperature display built right in.This is an exceptional value, in my opinion, for the many options/functions, style, and of course, very pleasant hue of (dimmable) light.
