I have a 2008 Subaru Outback and like to listen to frenetic technical death metal whenever I drive. Technical Death Metal is characterized by its complex structure and dynamic rhythms, but I like the drum blast beats the most. The car has over 200,000 miles on it so I didn't want to go all out with the audio system. These BOSS Audio Systems BE654 6.5" car speakers work great with the stock amp and my aftermarket JVC head unit. Installation wasn't easy as these speakers weren't made specifically for my car, but as I said the car has over 200,000 miles on it and I don't care that I had to drill a 6.5" hole through the door panels to get through to install it. Dynamics. To test the sound quality, I first installed the speakers on the driver's side and temporarily left the stock passenger speakers. I played music through each side separately and the BOSS speakers are better. I recommend them if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a REAL sound system but still want the best sound.
