This is my very first set of smart lightbulbs. I personally find these lamps expensive. So of course I expected a fantastic performance. Here is my experience. 3 are lined up in lamps close to each other, and the fourth is in a lamp nearby. One of the 3 is a slightly different color than the rest. For some reason it tends to be a little bit pink and sometimes it's very noticeable and other times it's not that strong. For the price I didn't expect such problems. The app is terrible. Brightness is everywhere. Sometimes changing the color value causes the lightbulb to get brighter even though the brightness value in the application doesn't change. Scheduled color changes are not taking effect as expected. I'd lined up several and it seemed like the color of the first one always kind of popped back into action. I ended up abandoning the app entirely in favor of Alexa Routines, which seem to do the job very well. The brightness/dimming levels are weird. Sometimes it seems that the difference between 90% and 20% is negligible; but man, once you get under 20% or so, every point becomes very noticeable. Below a certain level, the app doesn't seem to let you dim, but then Alexa goes back to zero completely. Why not ensure smooth and consistent dimming levels? - Color temperature colors tend towards pinks and purples rather than reds and blues and don't match very well with real lightbulb colors. Sometimes it seems that the application sets both the color temperature setting and the custom color setting at the same time. Not sure if it got mixed up or the lightbulb. Of course it works for me. The bulbs themselves are not attractive. Not so much, depending on the openness of the device. Also, most LED bulbs look pretty much the same these days, so it doesn't matter. I want them to improve in the years to come. Pros: - WiFi setup was easy after remembering my 2.4GHz guest account password. 2.4 suits me - I don't know why people complain about it on such devices. It has a longer range and is less burdened with priority traffic. "Setting up Alexa was easy and completely replaced the app for me. I didn't like that when I clicked the Alexa button in the app, it seemed like the app was asking for my Revain password. So I didn't go that route. I added the sentled skill to Alexa and it prompted me to enter my sentled account password which I was much more comfortable giving. - For all the sorrow I said about the brightness control, I'm glad the bulbs don't seem to flicker when dimmed. I have some regular dimmable LED bulbs that flicker randomly when dimmed and this is driving me nuts. In addition, the maximum brightness of white, in my opinion, corresponds to the standard of 800 lumens. What is good. Overall, the sentries are good. I don't regret the purchase as I swam into the world of smart lightbulbs for the first time. But given the price and basic features, I still expected a more polished experience.
