The package had them labeled matte but are actually glossy/shiny and smooth. Maybe this is just Ultra Pros version of matte (very unlikely), because they look, play, and feel glossy. Personally i don't purchase glossy sleeves anymore because they stick and become worn much too quickly. Thus i received the exact thing i did not want, and i would never have purchased this product had i known. So now you know. Otherwise the product is fine, exactly 100, and the quality is what you would expect for the price, and the print was as represented.
