Brand new unit, it is exactly the same as my original which I took out and has lasted 13 years and 140,000 miles. Also a simple fix, first disconnect the negative battery post, then loosen a couple of ribbon clamps and disconnect the wiring harness. Pull out old Delphi box (original equipment manufacturer), insert new one, tighten clamps, reconnect wiring harness and battery negative pole. It's a good idea to clean the airbox before installation and replace the air filter while you're there. Then start it, if you have code PO101 it will be automatically cleared anyway if the battery is disconnected. It should have more oomph, it should eliminate throttle stumble, idle idle issues and intermittent idle issues, and improve fuel economy. A big plus when you have a 2500HD with a 6 liter engine and a 4:11 rear end. It's never been good on gas mileage anyway, but now it's improved and runs smooth as a sewing machine, like new for $80, in my truck it will pay for itself in gas mileage in a month!
