The reason I ordered a replacement handle is that the bottom part was split. So bad that I could only open the microwave door by the handle at the very top. Well I was just lucky that the new part arrived and after opening it I saw that the bottom of the handle was already split on both sides. Are you kidding me? The front plastic panel has already been separated from the back panel. Luckily I already had Goop glue. So I followed the instructions for the glue and held it in place for 24 hours. So far the grip is fine and the glue seems very strong. I'm annoyed that the new part was already broken, but at this price it just wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back for a replacement. If someone had actually looked at the pen in the clear plastic bag before shipping (on each side of the pen) they would have seen a tear at the bottom.
