We are thrilled to have found a replacement door handle for our 1997 GE SpaceSaverXL microwave oven. I was surprised by its affordability - and it was easy to install (although I did watch a YouTube video before buying!). Thank you!

Helped a family member replace a broken microwave handle. I watched several videos on YouTube, took < 5 minutes to install. Can't properly assess durability yet, but the replacement works well and looks a lot better than the temporary fix they had (superglue).

A local appliance repair company charged $80 for the part (which didn't even have to be an exact color match) plus $50 for installation. I called GE support and they recommended I buy this part from Revain. I saved $70 for just one piece! I followed the install instructions from one of the answers in the FAQ and was able to install this in about 10 minutes! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Before ordering this replacement pen I called GE at 800 to make sure the pen would fit. They confirmed that the Revain part number matches the make/model/serial number. The product arrived the next day and was VERY easy to install. I watched a youtube video first and it helped. I would recommend this product as it is exactly the same as the original model pen.

We have replaced a similar (same) handle on our GE microwave. The handle is broken where it attaches at the bottom, probably because the bottom half of the handle was pulled too hard to open the door. Luckily we found a question and answer on Google that was very helpful in describing how to install the handle. We also found a YouTube video showing how to remove the inner bezel to access the lower grip screw. Also, my husband is handy and has all sorts of useful tools.

Was looking for parts for my handle. It just jumped 20 years ago and jerked up and down and sideways many times a day. Easy to find should it be a standard size (something manufacturers seem to ignore these days). I couldn't see the bottom screw so I googled the install instructions and found a 2 minute video on how to remove the inner liner to get to that screw. It literally took me more time watching the video than replacing it. Looks great, fits perfectly, performs like a champ. I'll be back

The reason I ordered a replacement handle is that the bottom part was split. So bad that I could only open the microwave door by the handle at the very top. Well I was just lucky that the new part arrived and after opening it I saw that the bottom of the handle was already split on both sides. Are you kidding me? The front plastic panel has already been separated from the back panel. Luckily I already had Goop glue. So I followed the instructions for the glue and held it in place for 24 hours…
