I have a weighted duvet that I love but the fluffy soft duvet is too hot for summer nights. So after looking for Revain duvets, I settled on these. The duvet is also perfect as a weighted duvet after a wash/dry cycle. There weren't any problems with the strings and I'm pretty sure it's 100% cotton (sometimes sellers say it's cotton but it's a mix of cotton and synthetic). I think the duvet is a little expensive so I went for one of the cheapest options in grey. I thought the blue one was really cute too, but it was $10 more expensive and I didn't want to spend too much on something like that. But the $30 was worth it as the old comforter I had required me to turn on the air conditioner more often, which adds up after a while. I'd love to try other colors in the future if I get the chance, but for now I'm hoping this one lasts. I am very happy with the purchase and will update the information later if there are any problems in the future. The picture also shows that the zip is YKK (a good branded zip that holds up well) but the actual product did not come with YKK. Lightning. It was a bit disappointing as it was one of the reasons I bought it too, but I hope the zip that comes with it is good enough!
