I received these two flashlights and tested one of them while diving today in Laguna Beach, California. Nice compact package with a push button switch in the rear. Sufficient for shore diving at 10-15 vis. Yes there are more powerful and expensive lights out there and I've had plenty of them but the price is great for what you get and as mentioned fully suitable for day diving under ledges etc or as a backup light when night diving. . Technical divers need more, but for recreational use it's fine. For those worried about battery life with the included battery, yes there are definitely higher capacity batteries you can use, but I did a 55 minute dive with the included battery and the light was on the entire time without problems at maximum brightness. I didn't check it on my second dive but now it doesn't seem to be weaker. For those worried about flooding, make sure to lubricate the o-rings and check for contamination before diving in. Has a double o ring and they came dry and needed lube. Today I dived 47 feet and everything is fine. Well-made aluminum body, user-friendly push button switch. Most of my dives are off the beach so I won't test it at depths for technical divers, but for recreational dives I think you'll be in good shape. The best part is that if I lose it or borrow it and my buddy loses it I don't break a sweat too much as the price is very reasonable.
