We used this for testing underwater at our lake house. Every spring we sometimes find that the old tree trunks have shifted during the winter months, making jumping in unsafe. This flashlight was the best we found. It's very bright underwater. I actually keep it in my desk drawer out of the reach of children because of the brightness. This spring, the lantern helped us jump off the dock safely.

Be sure to read Richard Drew's review. I can't add much more. I recommend looking at the battery installation instructions on the Revain website. The head of the flashlight unscrews, not the tail as shown in the printed instructions that came with the flashlight. There was no paper or disc on my batteries. My flashlights and chargers worked great. I will use it as a backup dive light. I will add more after removing them.

I really liked this compact flashlight. It is easy to put in your BCD pocket, the button is easy to use. One press for low beam, one press for middle beam and one press for high beam. One battery charge was enough for three dives. My diving friends commented on how bright my flashlight was compared to another despite being smaller and much cheaper. This is excellent value for money. No leaks, easy to charge via USB port.

My son and I have used them on our open water dives, advanced open water dives and nitrox certification dives. I can confirm that the flashlight works very well to a depth of 112 feet. I recently did a low light night dive at a local dive club. This light was excellent. Its small form factor and straps made it comfortable without being bulky. The level 3 switch was very helpful; Low level brought color back to fish and rocks, medium level gave a beam that my partner could easily follow, and in the water high level created a haze of white (like a high beam in a blizzard) that was very useful in the water. I like the flashlight. It feels solid and the light is amazingly bright. It has three brightness levels, so it's best to use the lowest brightness level on night dives if you want to be wary of critters. Best of all is the one-handed on/off switch at the end, which is recessed so you don't accidentally turn it on. The only drawback is the strobe function. Agree with other commenters that the charger is very cheap and flimsy but it seems to work. Checked the dough for coverage and the only plastic was on the outside, nothing covering either end (see photo). The blue border is attached to the sleeve that wraps around the full length of the battery and if there was a protective sleeve the battery wouldn't charge. I received these two flashlights and tested one of them while diving today in Laguna Beach, California. Nice compact package with a push button switch in the rear.
