I like the flashlight. It feels solid and the light is amazingly bright. It has three brightness levels, so it's best to use the lowest brightness level on night dives if you want to be wary of critters. Best of all is the one-handed on/off switch at the end, which is recessed so you don't accidentally turn it on. The only drawback is the strobe function. It takes a while to get used to and can be confused with a "press and hold" shutdown action. The last time I used it during the day I thought I had turned it off but it was actually on the flash. However, I did not notice that the battery sat down like that in daylight. It's okay, it just needs attention. Generally excellent quality, therefore recommended as a main or backup light source.
