Our original legs for the shelf got dirty quickly and got a lot of micro cracks which got additional products etc. When the new ones arrived I was faced with the task of removing those old stained feet. The best way to do this is to squeeze them firmly with pliers and twist your wrist to remove them in a semi-circular motion. The new ones are very tight. Put them in half as much as possible. Turn the stand over and then press it on a hard surface until you feel it is a perfect fit. Now that they're inside, I'd like to do it a lot sooner. I bought quite a few of these. My sink looks nice and clean again. Since they come in packs of four I had to multiply quickly to figure out how many I needed. Since my pair of stones are 9 feet long, I ended up buying nine packs. That gives me good clean legs to replace.
