Was very easy to install, be careful removing the mirrors as I broke the plastic tabs holding them in place. months ago. At first I was concerned that the plug seemed loose and could possibly work on its own from the light, but it hasn't failed yet. As a final note, as others have said, you can see the light they throw around the mirror. I personally like this over OEM lights because you can see that they work. If that bothers you, take some black paint and gently paint the back of the lantern around the edges to cover it. Update: Less than a year later there is moisture on the driver's side, it's still working but probably not for much longer. One star is deducted for durability. 2nd update: just over a year old, driver side (with water) still working but passenger side 1/2 dead (one led still working but dark). In addition, the plastic case has changed from transparent to yellowish. I'm taking off a star because I feel they should have lasted over 1 year
