I have used the Intex Seahawk 2 for fishing for many years. There are holes, but they leak a little. They do wear out, but for the price and convenience (folds up to the size of a sleeping bag and easily fits in the trunk) they're great little boats. I can paddle as fast as an average kayak and I can paddle far with these boats. I usually row about 5 miles when fishing. Unlike canoes or some kayaks, they don't tip over. Helpful Tips: 1. Buy the best pair of oars. I got a pair of Intex oars for $162 about 7 years ago. The pump that comes with it is pretty good, but get a Coleman rechargeable pump or something. 3. Have a seat. You will fall a bit without a seat. I put the lifebuoy cushion on and put the seat on it. Very comfortable and you will sit higher. 4. Made a storage platform on the back. Very useful for small beer coolers and other things. 5. Always keep a repair kit in your boat. With Tear Aid B and Air Stop you can repair any puncture in about 5 minutes. 6. Always take your Intex hand pump with you. You can inflate the boat with air while you are in the boat! I'm 6ft 2in and about 225 pounds. The boat will lose some air after some time on the water. I take a minute about every two hours and add a little more air to complete it. This can be done with all three air chambers. Sometimes I go out at 6 or 7 and when I get back to the boat my boat is completely inflated like the first time. November. I'm always with my boat! I don't have to lug it out of my backyard or whatever and put it on the roof of my Honda Accord. I take up so little space, even if you have a small car, you can just leave it there. Very convenient! Remember that leaks are very easy to fix with Tear Aid B and Air Stop (use them together). Tear Aid is a PVC adhesive and dries instantly. Air Stop is an adhesive, but it dries very quickly. Just a minute or so. Close the opening of the Tear Aid and use the Air Stop to go around the edges of the Tear Aid. These boats let some air through the valves, but as I said, just bring a small Intex pump and pump air into the boat whenever you feel it needs it.
