Review on 📸 Sony SAL70400G 70-400mm f/4-5.6 G SSM Telephoto Lens by Brian Graham

The "G" series lenses simply can't compete with the lenses you buy at your local store. Again, the price difference between this lens and the kit lens is quite different. There have been many comments about this lens and its weight. Believe these comments. The lens is heavy and not quite suitable for "walking". However, I took mine on a 1-3 hour hike and it's not overwhelming but I'm also a big guy. Colour, contrast, clarity and precision across the range. In addition to shooting from a distance, I've had impressive results using this lens as a close-up lens at medium distances (3-5 feet). In the review section I will post two pictures, look for a squirrel on a tree and a beetle on a plant. These two should give you a good idea of the zoom as well as the macro capabilities. Overall I'm very impressed with this lens, I would buy it again without hesitation.
