UPDATE: Even though the manual doesn't offer a solution that would work for a dead monitor (no display, no power light), I managed to bring it back to life! With the unit on, I held the three buttons on the back + the pacifier for a few seconds until maybe 15 seconds later the monitor lit up again and I turned on the amber power light. What a relief, I really didn't want to wait for a replacement! This display produces beautiful and accurate colors if you lower the brightness significantly, which I set at 30. The contrast is good, but nothing special. I mainly use this for gaming, so the first thing I did was enable GSync in the nvidia control panel and set the framerate limiter to 72 using rivatuner (3 less than the monitor's 75Hz refresh rate, as recommended). And I'm really impressed, the movement is smooth and responsive like I've never seen before coming from a 60Hz TN panel which is way better than just vertical sync. Works great in all games I've tried including Far Cry 5, GTA, Modern Warfare, The Witcher 3, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, FIFA etc. I would go for a 144hz display but given the capabilities my 1070ti for it For the games I play, 75 Hz seemed optimal to me. Highly Recommended Original Review *DOA. Worked for about 10 minutes and then just shut down while I adjusted the picture settings in the OSD. Tried changing the power cord, flipped the switch and waited a few seconds but nothing, the power light doesn't light up at all. I feel like I want to try this model again, will update as soon as I get it. *
