I liked them so much that I ordered another set of 3. One of the biggest problems with cheap mini fridges is that they don't have an interior light. It's hard to raid the fridge in the middle of the night. They are ideal for installation in a mini fridge. The cold and the fact that the lights are barely on due to the motion sensor keep the batteries in good condition. So far they have held up well on cold walls. Very satisfied. UPDATE: Yes, they drain batteries pretty quickly depending on how often they're turned on. I've started using rechargeable batteries, both lithium and Ni-MH AAA, and everything works fine. Our cat usually hides in the hallway and we found it very helpful not to step on him. On the other hand, it disables the motion sensor, so the batteries don't last as long. Still a great product.
