I installed three lamps under the banister in the basement. I placed a light at the top, middle and bottom of the railing and it's bright enough for the steps and looks nice. I liked them so much that I ordered another set of 3. One of the biggest problems with cheap mini fridges is that they don't have an interior light. It's hard to raid the fridge in the middle of the night. They are ideal for installation in a mini fridge. Added 1 of these to a small bedroom closet with closet doors. I just used tape and put the light on the top center bar of the door (face down) on the inner bar behind the doors (inside the closet) so now when the doors are opened the light comes on automatically. Exactly what I needed. The light is bright enough to illuminate the inside of the cabinet and the items inside.
