Added 1 of these to a small bedroom closet with closet doors. I just used tape and put the light on the top center bar of the door (face down) on the inner bar behind the doors (inside the closet) so now when the doors are opened the light comes on automatically. Exactly what I needed. The light is bright enough to illuminate the inside of the cabinet and the items inside. Because it's behind the doors, the light doesn't turn on until the doors are pushed open, causing movement. Very pretty! I've also set one up in my laundry room, where it can be pitch black. It just sits on the shelf. Now when we enter or walk through the laundry room, the light comes on, providing enough light to get through without having to turn on the main overhead lights. It was very comfortable. The motion sensor is powerful and sensitive. Put this somewhere you won't turn on the light unless you want to. They can be easily executed, which can be good or bad depending on the need. The battery life seems good to me. The brightness is good. It's bright white (cool white), not soft white (yellow), just FYI. I bought a 3 pack for a very reasonable price. All 3 work and have been tested. I would recommend these.
