I bought a set of these replacement joysticks because the controllers are drifting. I initially sent the two left joycons to Nintendo for repair and received them fairly quickly, but the right one also started to drift. My sister and mom also complained about the drift so I decided to give it a try. At the moment I have replaced the two left ones for my mother and sister and my right one. It's a delicate process and the first one took about 15 minutes, it involves small delicate details, but the tools provided were very helpful. I mainly used magnetic screwdrivers and tweezers. Since everything went so well, I bought two more sets as I am sure that eventually they will also drift and I can solve this problem again. Definitely cheaper than a new set of joycons, about $5 each. I watched the video before trying the left but it covered it on the right. It was a little different, but the principle was the same.
